Small aid convoy reaches Syria for first time in months – Middle East Affairs

For the first time since late November, an aid convoy has reached Eastern Ghouta in Syria, reports Reuters. Nine trucks brought food, medical and nutritional supplies Wednesday for 7,200 people, according to tweets from the United Nations and Syrian Arab Red Crescent. The rebel-held area has almost 400,000 civilians.
